THE #ART OF ROCKET DADS

This is part of the #ARTCONNECTS19 Festival which was inspired in no small way by art, a story and a dad and a film he made about his life called ‘Rocket Man’.

Watch the film below of a talk that STEAM Co. co-founder Nick Corston gave at a literacy conference to launch the Rocket Kid Stories the day that Elton John’s film came out in the UK and how it set off a chain of events.

TEN MINUTES A DAY

See the film below by Save the Children to stress the how just ten minutes a day could change everything. It’s part of their ‘Read On, Get On’ campaign with the National Literacy Trust about the importance of reading.

This film shows how a boys life unfolds in a nightmare scenario after his dad, tired after a day’s work suggested they watch the telly instead of reading and fell asleep…
