“IMAGINATION CAN TAKE US ANYWHERE”
Albert Einstein
As you can see in the film above with BBC Radio London we had so much fun last year at Brockwell Bounce under a few gazebos that we’re super sizing this year and will be in the Big Top.
But we won’t see a Big Top, no we’ll see #OurSeeMonster - a 100m tall art rig towering above us, drilling for inspiration, made from cardboard, code and creativity.
We’ll land our 50m tall #StarShip22 on it.
So bring your cardboard and help us create it.
A DAY OF ART ACTIVISM
We’ll ask you to come on #OurSeeMonster’s stage and tell us about your art, what creativity means to you and we’ll live stream it to the world to send out an SOS to #SaveOurSubjects to have more art and creativity in our schools.
Take a look at the film below showing #OurSeeMonster and #StarShip22 in Liverpool recently launching the #SaveOurSubjects campaign with children there.

WHY WE SAVED #SEEMONSTER
In 2022 the government ran a National Festival of Creativity and Innovation called #Unboxed2022 - in which they invested £120m.
With ten artworks/projects each costing between £5m and £10m it was fantastic.
One of them saw an old North Sea rig dragged round the coast on a barge to be set up on the beach at Weston Super Mare with a small forest, wind turbines, solar panels, a cloud machine and a waterfall. It was wonderful and we took community trips there from across the country thanks to grants from the Unboxed2022 Youth and Community fund.
The tragedy was that it was 3 months late opening and closed to the public after just 8 weeks so we started the #SaveSeeMonster petition to save it.
Sadly we didn’t save SeeMonster but we did save #OurSeeMonster which we are taking to school communities, fetes and festivals as a beacon to the creativity revolution our chidlren, our communities and our country still desperately need in this #OurCreativity23 Year.
We’re calling it #CreativityRevolution23 and launched it in Ironbridge on World Creativity Day as you can see below.
With the #OurMillion23 appeal we’re now trying to ‘Raise a Million Quids to Inspire a Million Kids to Aim Higher Than High in Life with the Power of Creativity and Community’.
