A year ago we came to Cornwall to launch the #OurMIllion22 appeal to ‘Raise a Million Quids to Inspire a Million Kids’ with #Cornwall22 and #Shropshire22 - joint birthplaces of the industrial revolution.
And see this as the greatest lesson we can taeach our kids - NOT TO FEAR FAILURE

Where better to kick off our #Creativity23 year than where we did our #Ignite22 year in the joint birthplace of the industrial revolution, the county where Richard Trevithick invented the steam loco and which is now leading the UK’s contribution to the Space Race and Britain’s Creativity Revolution.
Yes we have been given special access to SpacePort Cornwall, to share ‘Cosmic Girl and ‘Launcher One’s historic voyage for #UKLaunch, the first ever space launch from UK soil.

HOMER HICKAM
Author and Former NASA Engineer
Given that it was Homer’s story, as told in his global best selling book ‘Rocket Boys’ (and sister movie ‘October Sky’), that helped turbo charge STEAM Co.’s work acorss the UK, we’re delighted that he is able to join us as our anchor over these few days.

Lord Martin Rees
Astronomer Royal and Astrophysicist
Professor/Lord Rees is a British cosmologist and astrophysicist and the fifteenth Astronomer Royal, appointed in 1995. He was Master of Trinity College, Cambridge and President of the Royal Society.
Baron Lord of Ludlow, his parents founded a boarding school in Shropshire based on progressive educational concepts and his recent book ‘The End of Astronauts’ argues the case for why robots are the future of space exploration.

OUR MISSION TO MARS SESSIONS
We’re taking bookings now for our half or full day Mission to Mars session which are all about inspiring all our kids to aim higher than high - powered by their creativity, community and a few inspiring stories.
It kicks off with an all school assembly that we can deliver live or even live stream from your hall across the school to class bubbles and family homes as if on a cardboard Mars Base Camp in your playground.
Inspiring, engaging and educational creative activities followed by a real dynamite rocket launch to send everyone home buzzing.
