STEAM Co. was co-founded by a bunch of parents, teachers , local businesses and other creative carers in a primary school so it’s always great to work with a school in London but this will be a very special day as our journey to this school shows how art connects.
Back in lock down when everyne was at home, we live streamed a Notting Hill Carnnival event with Portobello Radio from a yard in the area as you can see below. When we needed some help with our #StarShip22🚀 we went back to the yard and they told us to go next door to LN Recovery who not only sorted us out but the boss told us he had kids in a local school and that he had a dream for them and young people in the community, to aim high in life.
So, thanks to Luke Narcisse, dad to Lewis and Lexi (and the fantastic head teacher and his team of course) we’re visiting St Thomas’s C of E Primary
This epic afternoon is going to be very special for us. We’re going to build #OurSeeMonster inthe playground to land #StarShip22 on and It will be filmed for a community live stream later that week.
It will be live on:
