We believe in the power of creativity and help schools and communities run inspiring and engaging creativity days.
We’re on a mission to inspire a million kids to aim higher than high, powered by their creativity and our communities.
Helping them find their passion, their art - maybe to make some money, to make some friends, to make the world a better place.
In this, our #STEAMpowered24, year, we're using our past to inspire all our futures.

We’ve been doing what we do for 10 years now, in anger for the last 8 after the CEO of Arts Council England called for a ‘Creativity Revolution’ in 2016.
Where better then to launch it than Ironbridge, birthplace of the industrial revolution (and with it the climate crisis), and the other two counties that helped power it.
We now need to scale our work at speed by getting STEAMsters and our Art Trucks on the road, initally working with schools and communities in Shropshire/NorthWest, Cornwall/South West and Yorkshire/North East - using the IndustriaL Revolution as our inspiration as you can see here
We’ve been doing what we can, but can’t do it alone. The Co. in STEAM Co. stands for Collaboration.
Let’s #CollaborateForCreativity like we did with McLaren at the British Grand Prix and the Hopetown Visitor Centre in Darlington
We’re taking #OurRocketKids on #PlanetDisco Creative Community Pop-Up to Schools, Fetes and Festivals across the UK this summer
We have free tickets to come and help us a few hours a day

We were blown away to go to Shropshire to make a film with McLaren to help launch the Creativity Revolution.
They put our logo on the front of their cars at the British Grand Prix which saw Lando Norris get his best F1 podium result - a STEAM powered result!

STEAM Co. is a UK government registered non-profit community enterprise and has only come this far thanks to donations and hard to find sponsorship as well as a few grants when we can get them.
We fear a #CreativityCrisis and need to scale quickly to reach more schools, so we need your support now.
The #OurMillion appeal aims to ‘raise a million quids to inspire a million kids’ by getting up to 23 of our Pop-Up Creativity Day Art Trucks on the road with a STEAMSter, fully funded for a year to run sessions for free in schools and communities, at fetes and festivals.
To prove our creative community engagement model can scale we want to get the first three trucks on the road in Shropshire, Cornwall and Yorkshire - three places synonymous with the first industrial revolution - where cardboard is our cast iron, art is the coal, the oil and caring, creativity and community are our driving force.
If you want to put some rocket fuel in our tank to to help keep us flying high you can donate to our GoFundMe appeal here
Why not book a half or full day OurRocketKids session or full STEAM Co. Day for your kids’ school here to kick off next term.
Our schools are broke. If you can pay £750 for one of our full creativity days in a school, then click here
Companies that share our belief in creativity and community can fully fund a STEAMster and art truck for a year here
Watch the film below about how and why STEAM Co. started and their mission to connect our kids with their art.
We’ve been grateful for support and collaborations across the board, from hi tech and high finance to festivals and famous friends of friends like the the Edge Foundation, Hipgnosis Music and EdTech UK.
Charitable Education Trust LGfL and The Department of Culture helped us re-engineer our community engagement model in lockdown and we haven’t looked back since.
Then we were asked if we’d like to be Sponsor X
We thought about it for longer than some might give us credit for, but we’re tired of preaching to the converted, so we bit their hand off.

A few years ago a dad co-founded a project with his sons’ school community to help their kids aim higher, powered by creativity and community.
STEAM Co. was born, grounded in the belief ‘it takes a whole village to inspire a child’, that we all have to help our kids find their passion in life. Their art.
Many in our schools, communities and across the arts and business worlds have collaborated with him and provided rocket fuel for his journey.
Nick Corston’s not stopped since, flying round the UK in #StarShip22 running creativity days in schools across the UK, live streaming as he goes.
He now needs your help to turbo charge his work.
